Key Highlights of the Brothers BBQ Experience
What makes Brothers BBQ a cherished fixture on the Los Angeles culinary map? It’s the combination of dedication to tradition and a welcoming environment. Here are a few elements that define our commitment to excellence:
The Slow-Smoking Process: At the core of our operation is the unwavering commitment to slow cooking. Meats are seasoned meticulously and then allowed to smoke for many hours over carefully selected woods. This patient process ensures unparalleled tenderness and allows the smoke flavor to penetrate deeply, resulting in meats that are juicy, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone tender. This dedication to time is non-negotiable in our kitchen.
Signature House-Made Sauces: While the quality of the meat speaks for itself, our selection of house-made sauces offers the perfect complement. Each sauce is crafted in small batches, balancing sweetness, tang, and heat to enhance, rather than overpower, the natural smoky profile of the barbecue. Guests can explore a range of profiles, from classic tangy vinegar bases to richer, molasses-heavy styles.
A Focus on Community and Atmosphere: Located conveniently at 3680 W 6th St, Brothers BBQ aims to be more than just a place to eat; it’s a place to connect. The atmosphere is designed to be relaxed, friendly, and inviting—a true neighborhood spot where the focus remains squarely on enjoying fantastic food in good company. We strive to make every visit feel like coming home to a comforting, flavorful meal.
Commitment to Quality Ingredients: We believe that exceptional barbecue starts with exceptional raw materials. We prioritize sourcing the best cuts of meat available, understanding that the foundation of great flavor lies in the quality of what goes into the smoker. This foundational commitment ensures consistency and superior taste across our entire menu offerings.
The Heart of Los Angeles Barbecue Culture
Brothers BBQ is proud to contribute to the diverse and dynamic food scene of Los Angeles. While the city is known for many global cuisines, the demand for authentic, high-quality American barbecue remains strong, and we are dedicated to meeting that demand with integrity. Our location serves as a beacon for those seeking genuine smokehouse flavor, far removed from quick-service imitations. We respect the regional variations of barbecue but maintain a distinct style that has resonated deeply with our patrons.
Every visit to our establishment is an opportunity to savor the results of dedication. From the perfectly rendered fat on our brisket to the smoky char on our ribs, the experience is layered and satisfying. We encourage our guests to explore the menu, try different pairings, and discover their personal favorite combination of smoked meats and traditional, hearty sides that perfectly accompany the main event. The culinary journey at Brothers BBQ is one rooted in tradition but delivered with the energy and spirit of Los Angeles.

Unfortunately our experience wasn’t the best or wasn’t even the bare minimum. We get there and stand for a while then a server comes and says something not even a word, just a sound that sounded like come but then we follow and he’s like no! Stay there. Okay fine, we do and then he just says okay there, (mind u there’s two tables open) and then he just walks away) so we just sit down closest one, not even 5 mins after we seat he goes okay ur ready? So we order and then we get our food maybe after ten minutes , it was confusing cause nothing was explained. Then right after 3-5 minutes of our stuff on the grill is like they come and cook it for us but aggressively. Not once were we checked up on, not once were we asked if we wanted drinks, etc. only 3 portion of meat (4 pieces each and cold noodles) for $109 + side dishes that we were not once ask for refill. I think that entire time we sat down they did not speak to us once. Just came to our table without saying a word to occasionally flip meat that’s it. And just left the bill with no word! Suggest tip $20?! I’m a server myself and have only worked for Korean people and never even thought of treating my customers or even think how my boss or manager would let us act like this. We left $10 cause we know tip shared to the back and the only person who said enjoy was the BOH cook who came to bring us steamed egg!! We left and the server just walked past us without saying a word. I’m just shocked how they still expecting such high tip with such service not even being the bare minimum 🤣

First time eating kbbq in Cali. Went for a late lunch/early dinner. My friend and I aren't huge fans of cooking the meat ourselves, so we were happy to find an option were we could order from the kitchen. The banchan was fresh and we were … More

Cold noodles are good and fresh side dishes. They have their own parking lot but $3 for valet parking. I guess that is reasonable in Koreatown. More

This place has a quiet but exciting energy, they have great galbi, pineapple, and sides. Very high quality meat. They have a good staff too. Also it was pretty empty on a. Saturday evening which is strange for KBBQ. I Would come back again More

Great experience, onsite parking is a plus. It was the customer service that earned a top rating. The food was quality, pricey but good. Didn't have to wait long and several people helped us, each one had good customer service, that says a lot about a business, especially a restaurant. More

Wow Korean BBQ. Some people told me that Korean food is LA is better than actual Korea itself. This restaurant is the reason. They serve everything expected of Korean BBQ at the finest level.
This has all you can eat option, which we chose. We will probably do the same thing again next time. It is all-you-can eat, but the quality is not compromised.
The service is also great, ad they grill it for you at your table.
The place is super kid friendly.
This place cannot go wrong, if you are looking for the best Korean BBQ.
I could not take many pictures, as I was too busy enjoying the food.

Brothers BBQ was a great find! The food was absolutely delicious—super fresh meat grilled to perfection, and the sliced beets were a surprising standout. The vibe was just okay, but the flavors more than made up for it. Will definitely be coming back!
